JLKM Submits Memorandum to Municipal Corporation and JIADA to Safeguard the Rights of Sharma Basti Residents

The Jharkhand Loktantrik Krantikari Morcha (JLKM) today submitted a memorandum to the Municipal Corporation and JIADA regarding the protection of the rights of residents of Sharma Basti (Ward No. 13).
JLKM’s Central Organization Secretary, Sanjay Gorai, stated that Sharma Basti has been suffering from a severe lack of basic amenities for a long time. Residents are deprived of essential facilities such as water, roads, drainage, healthcare, and education. The organization believes that in the name of development, neglect of such settlements cannot be justified.

He further emphasized that the administration must ensure the protection of the rights of the residents and provide permanent solutions to their problems. Sanjay Gorai clearly stated, “JLKM will continue to raise the voice of the people strongly. If these demands are ignored, the organization will be compelled to resort to mass movements.”JLKM has always played a leading role in the fight for people’s rights and will continue its struggle in the future as well.During the submission of the memorandum, Central Organization Secretary Umesh Mahato, Rupesh Gorai, Laxman Mahato, Prem, along with several other members, were present.
